"Friends of the Fellahin" is a sizzling performance of Egyptian, Tribal, Gypsy Jazz
Fusion, and Drum, with musicians George Sadak, Bahaa Sadak, Maurice Sadak
Rouman, John Sanders, and Keith Holt; and dancers Suzanna, Indigo, and
Troupe Hipnotica.
ZAINA
One of the nation’s original hooka bars, Zaina is a global nightlife community
where personalities are free to express -- this time at the "Mira" location on 1st &
Clay! DJ spinning Middle Eastern hits, hip hop, and global fusion remixes every
Saturday night, featuring 11:00pm belly dance shows, with full bar, Mediterranean
food, refreshments, entertainment (much of it from people-watching), flowery
water pipes, and a casual, sometimes exhilarating, unpretentious atmosphere.
Ages 18 and over (21+ to be at the bar). $5 cover.
