Workshop Registration

There is just something intensely magical about dancing artfully with several yards of fluid cloth. Make the most of this audience favorite! This two-part workshop will cover a simple yet elegant choreography to Alf Leila, an Egyptian classic. Part one is dedicated to veil, with a focus on veil as as a natural extension of your movement and voice rather than a prop. You'll be guided through personal improvisations as well as a choreography, and learn principles, techniques, moves, and transitions you'll use throughout your dance career. In part two, you'll complete the choreography with delicious belly dance bodywork!
